Weird how they do not have a set explanation for the 10% decay I had to search for it at wiki as the 3 am robbery of my savings was upsetting me. it flashes what Elvenar takes in their over taxation of players you get less then a second to read a long list of what they take each night> here in Chicago land of organized crime it happens at 3 am and I have yet to hit the photo screen catch button on time to see what they are taking.
So given that the game it flawed by design there is method in the madness. the designers are extremely lazy and their intent is to set players back or throw bearers in the way to slow down every one's progress. Decay works very well for them because you are forced to remake the stuff they steel every night. You literally have to camp on the game to keep goods stocked.
If your government took 10% of your lifes saves every night you would be up set yet that is what elvenar does every night at 3 am to me. I thought they were steeling my standard goods but come to find out there is a explanation here is the official quote
They admit that mana and divine seed "disappear" how many times have you squirreled away the goods to finish some thing only to find you are now short by X amount because of decay steeling your goods? The game designers made this happen to slow players down and force them to camp on the game to replace continually disappearing saving. if you can't play for over 10 days you'll come back to a game with nothing left.
I am currently in chapter 14 Constructs and I am trying to get enough mana to raise my hall when I finish the tech research. My main hall is level 31 and I am trying to squirrel away 770,000 mana 90,000 divine seeds to pay for the upgrade the 45,000 orc slaves is another disturbing part of the cost not sure if the slaves are currency or building material but I digress the designers are German so they view some humanoids as less then human so it is either currency or mortar aggregate. every night Elvenar taxes me 10% of my mana and divine seeds I have to collect 80,000 mana and 4,500 divine seeds to maintain the balance needed to pay for the upgrade.
Elvenar does a lot of things to prevent you from maintaining or advancing like divine seeds you had to be in a fellowship and do the adventures to get mana and divine seeds buildings Elvenar did change this you can craft a building to make divine seeds festival Merchant now and I have 11 of them on my kingdom which looks like crap but we are forced to have these to advance in the game. I have a posting here some where about mana buildings I have a huge farm of Flowers last resort do to the steeling of my mana elvenar took over 70,000 mana last night setting me back again if not for the farm I would never make the 770,000 elvenar steels way to much to most to continue so a lot quite or stop advancing some of my friends are thinking of quitting now because they hit the bearer. I try to explain that their fellowship adventure buildings are dragging them down taking up space but they like their trophy's so they well quit as they have stalled in the game.
I am close to the pay to win bearer where I well no longer advance in world rank because I refuse to spend money on the game I cut away the waste if the fellowship buildings and no longer even try to "win" the buildings in the fellowship quests as they are designed to fail unless you spend money on the game.
You really need to pay attention to what you click in game as diamonds are 500 for $5.00 and there are buttons that are over $100.00 if you click on them they convert currency to diamonds to disassociate the fact you are spending real money. When you fall short on mana or divine seeds there is always the button pay X amount of diamonds to finish this.
See method to the madness slowing down frustrating you and them provide a cheat that profits them. I shame they do not put more effort in to making the game better they could have done so much more but they took their resources and crafted even worse games then this one. I no longer play any of those and I am currently seeking a better game to play then this one it's been over 3 years and the built to fail thing is getting old when a game becomes a second job it is time to stop playing Farmville became a second job and I quite that so this game shouldn't hurt at all to stop playing. Ugly buildings forced to have them to maintain goods and enslaved to camp on them game or pay real money to advance.
World of Warcraft might be the ticket if I can scrap up enough to get a whole new PC system LOL gaming is soooo much fun isn't it =P anyway just venting a bit in my little corner of the innerweb world. If your having fun then your doing it right. Cheers mates

The Sentient Goods are subject to a special decay. You can store unlimited amounts of Sentient Goods in your Main Hall, but they will decay overnight by 10%. Sentient Goods decay like Mana and Divine Seeds but, unlike them, they will not just disappear but "transform back" into the original resource. For example, if you have 1000 Moonstone, and the decay is 10%, you will lose 100 Moonstone overnight and gain 100 Marble.
