The Shadows faction includes exclusive activities for members to complete in Diablo Immortal. The Shadows are one of two main factions that players can join. Initially, everyone starts out as an Adventurer, but joining the Shadows or Immortals grants additional perks and access to exclusive activities, so it's recommended that each player becomes a faction member as soon as possible. The Shadows are the easier of the two factions to join, and members will gain access to new activities as they rank up.
Before any activities can be accessed, players will need to become a member of the Shadows faction. Aside from being invited by an existing member, the only way to join this faction is by winning the Shadow Lottery. After reaching at least level 43 and completing the main story questline in Bilefen, players will be able to enter the Shadow Lottery in Diablo Immortal. The Shadow Lottery takes place every day at 12 pm, 6 pm, and 9 pm local server time, and results are mailed an hour after it starts. Winning the Shadow Lottery will grant players an opportunity to join the Shadows.
After joining the Shadows faction, players will be able to complete Contracts, Raid the Vault of the Immortals, defeat waves of enemies in Path of Blood challenges, and earn Akeba's Blessings in the Shadow Assembly. Contracts are unlocked after ranking up once, and the Raid the Vault activity is unlocked after reaching the third rank. At the third rank, players will also get access to Dark Clans and the Rite of Exile, which is the event in Diablo Immortal where the top Dark Clans have a chance to overthrow the server's current Immortals. No other activities need to be unlocked, but there are still rewards to earn for continuing to rank up in the Shadows faction.
How To Complete Shadow Contracts In Diablo Immortal
Contracts are available daily for members of the Shadows faction. Typically, players can complete two Contracts each day, but the daily limit can be increased by unlocking specific advantages when the Dark Clan ranks up. To claim Contracts, players will need to visit Bartender Bailey in the Tavern in Westmarch. There are always two Contracts to choose from. The Dungeon Contract will guarantee that players complete one of Diablo Immortal's dungeons during the quest. Solo Contracts are generally completed in the open world, but they may have some small areas to enter. When choosing a Contract, the steps for completing it can be viewed in the bottom left corner after unrolling the scroll.
After turning in one Contract, both will refresh and players can choose another if they haven't reached their daily limit. Along with a step-by-step guide for each Contract, the scrolls also list the rewards. Usually, the rewards are the same for Dungeon and Solo Contracts, so it doesn't matter which one is chosen. Rewards for completing Contracts include gold, XP, and random equipment. Contracts can be done while players finish other daily activities, such as Bounties, Dungeons, and completing Bestiary pages in Diablo Immortal.
How To Complete The Path of Blood In Diablo Immortal
Unlike most of the Shadows faction activities, the Path of Blood can be accessed by members at any time on any day. The Path of Blood becomes more challenging with each new floor that players attempt to clear. To get started, players will need to enter the Court of Whispers and turn left. There's an NPC named Nuon that can be spoken to in order to start the Path of Blood activity. Completing a floor for the first time rewards players with 200 Marks, which are used to rank up within the Shadows faction in Diablo Immortal. The Marks are applied to the player's individual level within the Shadows, and the top rank is 32. Completing new floors in the Path of Blood activity can make it easier to rank up quickly and receive higher attack and defense buffs.
How To Raid the Vault In Diablo Immortal
Fyguss is the Master Vault Raider located directly beside the Assembly Hall entrance in the Court of Whispers. Before the activity can be initiated, players will need to earn Shards of the Living Night by completing Contracts. From 12 pm to 2 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm, players in a party of four can Raid the Vault of the Immortals and collect Essentia for valuable rewards. At the start of this event in Diablo Immortal, players will need to sneak through the Vault without alerting the Warden. If the Warden is alerted, players will need to kill it before it can sound the alarm. If the alarm is triggered, Immortals will have the opportunity to fight the Shadows and throw them out of the Vault. However, if the Shadows win, they'll get five minutes to continue raiding without the Immortals interrupting. Rewards depend on what percentage of Essentia the party collects before leaving the Vault.
How To Complete The Shadow Assembly In Diablo Immortal
The Shadow Assembly is one of the easiest and most rewarding activities that Shadows are able to complete. From Monday to Saturday, at 6 pm local server time, players can participate in the Shadow Assembly. To get started, players can travel to the Assembly Hall by entering the Court of Whispers via the Tavern in Westmarch. Going through the portal will bring players to the Main Hall of the Court of Whispers, and the Assembly Hall entrance is on the other side of the room. Once inside, players can complete the Shadow Assembly in Diablo Immortal by collecting Akeba's four Blessings through interactions with other players.
Every two minutes, the active Blessing will change, and some players will randomly receive the new one. Each player can share their Blessing with four others before the round ends. Eventually, players will likely receive all four Blessings without needing them to be shared by other players. However, there are usually enough players that have Blessings to share with all or most of the participants. Collecting Blessings awards gold, XP, Marks, and Aspirant's Keys. Each Blessing has individual rewards that can be collected from the Shadow Assembly page by selecting the event from the quest tracker on the left side of the screen. Rewards can be claimed for any Blessing that has been received. The Shadow Assembly event in Diablo Immortal takes place every day except Sunday.
